At Panozzo Brothers Funeral Home, we are proud to offer a wide selection of traditional funeral services that can be tailored to your individual needs. We also offer alternatives to traditional services.
A skilled funeral director will help you create a ceremony or service based on the spirit and personality of your loved one, and how you want to remember and honor a life well lived. Every individual is unique, and there are many different ways you can share their life story during a viewing, visitation and service, while providing beautiful expressions that capture the essence of who your loved one was.
In addition to the decision regarding the type of burial casket to select for your loved one’s funeral, services today can also incorporate various types of tributes, eulogies and celebrations of life by clergy, families and close friends. Music can provide comfort as well as a fond memory. Cherished photos and mementos displayed through various video solutions, photo boards and memory tables can highlight and create an emotionally connecting ceremony to honor and celebrate the life that has passed.
Single-Day Services
One Day Traditional Service with a period for Visitation prior to the Funeral Service and burial. All rites and services are concluded in one day although the deceased may be moved from the Funeral Home to a Church for the Funeral Ceremony, and then a procession to the cemetery for burial.
Graveside Services
A Graveside Service is a form of traditional service but adapted in that all services are held entirely at the cemetery or mausoleum. The casket is not usually open for a public viewing. Family and friends meet at the cemetery at a predetermined time, and there is no funeral procession.
Alternative Services
Today, funeral arrangements are as individual as the person for whom and by whom they are made. A ceremony may be individualized to reflect a specific interest or hobby of the deceased. It may highlight one’s occupation or ethnic background and therefore, hold special meaning for those present.
The funeral ceremony is not unlike other ceremonies that distinguish our lives. Baptisms, graduations, weddings, and such all serve to recognize a significant event in a person’s life. The funeral ceremony likewise recognizes the final event in that person’s life and offers loved ones a chance to say a last goodbye.
Direct Burial
One alternative to the traditional service is Direct Burial. Direct Burial and Direct Cremation provide no visitation or funeral service. This option is available and is designed to meet the needs of some families.
All aspects of funeral arrangements are a combination of personal preference and financial circumstances. Our funeral directors can provide detailed information on all of the available options along with specific costs for each. He or she can also explain legal requirements and be sure all proper forms are completed.
